Job summary

Kenaidan Contracting Ltd is seeking an Advanced Labourer to support concrete, civil, and structural activities across the Greater Vancouver Area, BC. This full-time in-person role focuses on formwork installation, concrete finishing, dewatering, rigging, and site safety.

Successful candidates have at least five years of construction experience, proficiency with concrete operations, and certifications in confined spaces and First Aid.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and formwork operations.
• Experience operating Telehandlers and Skid Steers.
• Experience with rigging, dewatering, and concrete demolition.
• Confined Space and Level 1 First Aid certifications.
• Reliable, safety-oriented, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove conventional and engineered formwork systems.
• Place, vibrate, finish, and cure concrete.
• Perform concrete demolition, grouting, and material handling.
• Assemble, operate, and dismantle dewatering systems.
• Set up and operate temporary heating equipment.
• Safely rig, move, and secure materials and equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, and temporary structures.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain site cleanliness and support Health & Safety initiatives.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces as required.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Labourer to support concrete, civil, and structural construction activities on our projects throughout the Greater Vancouver Area.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and remove conventional and engineered formwork systems.
• Place, vibrate, finish, and cure concrete.
• Perform concrete demolition, grouting, and material handling.
• Assemble, operate, and dismantle dewatering systems.
• Set up and operate temporary heating equipment.
• Safely rig, move, and secure materials and equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, and temporary structures.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain site cleanliness and support Health & Safety initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

• $30.00 to $47.00 per hour
