Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Concierge Security Guard in Hamilton, Ontario to engage with people and help them feel safe in office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. You will focus on customer service and access control while performing patrols and incident response.

The position offers Sat-Sun 1800-0600 shifts, full-time and part-time opportunities, and GardaWorld Academy for ongoing education. Uniforms are provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification Required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Perform computer tasks.
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
