Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Concierge Security Guard in Toronto (M7A 2S9) to greet visitors, verify IDs, guide guests, and support access control across office towers, hotels, and shopping centres.

The role emphasizes customer service and requires an Ontario security license, first aid certification, and at least one year of security experience. Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.

• WSIB approved first aid certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a security guard.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Willing to commute to downtown Toronto.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service: welcome visitors, check IDs, and guide visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct foot patrols to identify risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Perform computer tasks.
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
