Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to liquor laws and regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Set up and stock bars with beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintain fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Take and process drink orders, mix and garnish drinks, practice portion control.
• Verify guest identification for alcohol service.
• Detect guest intoxication and act accordingly, demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws.
• Handle cash, verify charges, and record transactions accurately.
• Secure all beverage and food items, cash drops, and equipment after shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Wash and sterilize stemware.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
