Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food following federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation. Taste all prepared food items.
• Use established procedures during service, maintain records.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, store or discard excess food properly.
• Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Perform job safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Follow HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and temperatures.
• Use proper safety equipment and techniques, including gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes.
