Job summary

Irving Oil Ltd. in New Brunswick is seeking a Compliance Analyst to assist the Manager, Regulatory Compliance by analyzing data from multiple sources and developing data models and KPIs to reduce financial and compliance risks.

The role is a 14-month fixed-term position with onsite work in our home office and a strong benefits package. You will monitor program effectiveness, verify data accuracy, and prepare periodic reports for stakeholders while coordinating regulatory surveys and benchmarking

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in an analyst role focusing on statistics and data analytics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data modeling (Excel, Cognos, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Administer and enhance the Compliance Register (Nimonik) including testing and support.
• Monitor compliance program effectiveness through data analysis and reporting.
• Verify data accuracy through cross-referencing and quality control.
• Develop and improve data models, reporting tools, and automated processes.
• Prepare and present compliance reports, scorecards, and KPIs for stakeholders.
• Track and report on audits, regulatory notices, orders, and corrective actions.
• Support development and maintenance of compliance policies and regulatory requirements.
