Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Compensation, or related field.
• Alternatively, combination of education and extensive experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and amend class specifications by conducting job analysis and interviewing staff.
• Conduct job evaluations for new and existing positions using established methodologies.
• Review reclassification requests and provide recommendations based on job content and criteria.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in compensation and job evaluation decisions.
• Communicate outcomes and rationale to unions, managers, and employees.
• Participate in compensation surveys to support market analysis.
• Assist in development, review, and implementation of compensation policies and practices.
• Support annual compensation programs and initiatives.
• Support exempt position evaluations and reviews.
• Provide guidance to managers and HR on compensation and job evaluation decisions.
• Contribute to compensation-related projects and continuous improvement efforts.
