Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Toronto is seeking a Server to join our dining team within a welcoming retirement residence.

You will help set tables, serve meals, assist with tray service, and support with cleaning and dining room upkeep while delivering friendly, respectful service to residents and guests.

Experience with seniors and a positive attitude are valued; lifting heavy items and standing for shifts are required. VPS screening may be needed upon hire.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service and working with seniors preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand/walk for the majority of the shift.
• Proficiency in a second language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required.
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and dining area as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining area.
• Assist with catering and participate in special events and themes.
