Job summary

Cogir Real Estate in Vancouver is hiring a Server to join our bright dining room at a retirement residence. You will be part of a team serving residents and guests with care and professionalism.

The role offers $24.34 per hour, with duties including setting and clearing tables, tray service, and assisting with dining area cleanliness. Experience in food service and strong customer service are preferred; VPS screening may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and with seniors is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy items, and stand/walk for long periods.
• A second language is an asset and VPS screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• To serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• To set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required.
• To assist with cleaning of dishware and maintaining dining area cleanliness.
• To assist with catering and participate in special events and staff trainings.
• To follow health, safety and department policies and procedures.
