Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Server to join the dining room team at our Calgary retirement residence. You will assist with seating, tray service, and meal delivery while supporting dishwashing and cleanup to ensure a welcoming dining experience for residents and guests.

Ideal candidates have prior food service experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift and stand during shifts. VPS screening within 6 months or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service with seniors preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Physically able to lift and stand for long shifts
• Second language proficiency is an asset
• VPS screening within 6 months or willing to obtain

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional manner
• Set and clear dining tables; deliver tray service
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and dining area
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining area
• Assist with catering and special events
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff
• Follow health and safety regulations and department policies
• Promote Residents Rights & Responsibilities and uphold ethics
