Job summary

AgeCare Cariboo Place in Williams Lake, BC is seeking a Resident Care Attendant (RCA) to support seniors with daily living activities and personal care, delivering compassionate, resident-centered service aligned with provincial standards.

You will work under the Executive Director or Director of Care, participate in meals, housekeeping, social and therapeutic programs, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive team focused on quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Health Care Assistant program from a college recognized by the Post-Secondary Education Commission.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Genuine interest and concern for the well-being of seniors.
• Registered with the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Assist delivery of meals, housekeeping, laundry and recreation programs.
• Be resident-centered and model our values in all interactions.
• Participate in social, recreational and therapeutic programs.
