Job summary

AgeCare Brandt's Creek Mews in Kelowna, BC is seeking a Resident Care Attendant (RCA) on a casual basis. You will support residents with daily living activities and personal care, promoting choice and engagement while working with a dedicated care team.

You'll assist meals, housekeeping, laundry, and recreation programs, participating in group activities and events. A college Health Care Aide credential and BC Care Aide Registry registration are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Health Care Assistant program from a recognized college.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Registered with the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living and delivers personal care services.
• Assists delivery of meals, housekeeping, laundry and therapeutic recreation programs.
• Be resident-centered and model our values in interactions with residents and families, staff and the public.
• Participates in social, recreational and therapeutic programs including group activities, outings and special events.
