Job summary

Northern Health seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Fort St. John Hospital team. You will provide direct patient care and work with an interdisciplinary team to respond to changing health care needs.

Under BC Nurs­ing College standards, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, including systemic therapy administration, with a patient- and family-centered focus.

Shift: Wednesday and Thursday, Days, 07:00 to 16:59.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
• BC Cancer Agency systemic therapy certification is required or expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and administer systemic therapy per standards.
• Collaborate with an interprofessional care team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for clients and families.
• Respond to changing health care needs and deliver compassionate care.
