Job summary

Bloom Limited Partnership in Scarborough, ON, is seeking a part-time Personal Support Worker to provide resident care per care plans, monitor needs, and document information. You will participate in ongoing staff education and onboarding while following IPAC policies. A PSW certificate/diploma and adherence to provincial standards are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meets vocational standards set by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meets standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meets the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of sanitation and basic bedside care for geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor care per plan and report findings to supervisor.
• Document care-related information as directed.
• Attend in-service sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
