AgeCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans. The role focuses on safety, dignity, and support for residents, with collaboration from a dedicated team.

The successful candidate will monitor and document care activities, participate in ongoing training, and assist in onboarding new staff, while upholding IPAC guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents and colleagues.

Competenze

• PSW certificate or diploma is required.
• Meet vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.

Mansioni

• Assist in monitoring resident care to ensure adherence to the care plan and report findings to supervisor.
• Document information pertaining to resident care as directed.
• Attend in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) policies and procedures.
