Job summary

Yee Hong in Markham is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) for a temporary part-time day shift role of 3 months. The PSW will provide personal care, assist with daily activities, and support residents' physical, social, and emotional well-being in a warm, resident-centred environment.

The ideal candidate will have an Ontario PSW course, CPR, and be able to work weekends. Registration with HSCPOA is preferred, and Chinese language skills are an asset.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved PSW course in Ontario or equivalent.
• Experience in long-term care is an asset.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Registration with HSCPOA preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak Chinese is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to assist clients with daily activities and hygiene.
