Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Kingston, Ontario is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker. Rate of pay is $24.70 per hour under the collective agreement. You will build relationships with residents and support daily living activities in a long-term care setting.

You will join the Long Term Care team, provide supervision and care, encourage participation in programs, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive culture. A benefits package and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution.
• Detail-oriented and proficient in bedside care and procedures.
• Able to provide simple treatment and administer medication with supervision.
• Tact and diplomacy in working with residents, families, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities per care plans.
• Assist residents with communication and mobility aids; administer medications under supervision.
• Ensure access to mobility devices and safety equipment.
• Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support as part of resident well-being.
