Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Personal Support Worker to join the Kingston, Ontario Long Term Care team in a permanent, part-time role. You will build relationships with residents, support daily living activities, and contribute to a caring, dignity-focused environment.

You’ll work in a fast-paced facility using resident-centered care plans, with opportunities for ongoing learning and growth, and access to a comprehensive benefits package and SOAR program.

Qualifications

• Completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution.
• Compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work supporting seniors.
• Detail-oriented with proficiency in bedside care and procedures.
• Tact and diplomacy when working with residents, families and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with communication and sensory aids; monitor needs.
• Administer simple treatments and assist with mobility devices under supervision.
• Support residents' cognitive, social and emotional well-being through programs.
