Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma preferred.
• Experience in customer service or working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
• Ability to model warmth of human connection with residents, families and visitors.
• Sensitive and empathetic to the needs of others.
• Active interest in ongoing education.
• Computer literate.
• English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident support with daily living, dining, comfort and companionship.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting concerns.
• Ensure environment safety, infection control and safe food handling.
• Adhere to safety regulations, participate in training and maintain professionalism.
