Job summary

Cogir Senior Living operates retirement residences across Canada, offering independent living, assisted living and memory care. We are seeking Personal Support Workers with compassion and reliability who are committed to meaningful daily resident care.

Qualifications

• PSW Certification from a certified educational facility or internationally educated nurse.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and First Aid certification.
• Vulnerable Sector Check (within six months) or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and customer service with ability to build trusted relationships.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory support and personal hygiene for residents.
• Offer companionship and nutritional support to residents.
• Document tasks in the electronic health record platform and communicate changes to clinical leads.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
