Job summary

AgeCare Riverview in Medicine Hat, Alberta is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a temporary part-time role. Reporting to the Director of Care, you will deliver goal-directed, patient-centered nursing care, conduct assessments, and contribute to care planning in a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating care plans, and educating residents and families. CPR/First Aid is required; Vulnerable Sector Check may be needed.

Qualifications

• Current LPN registration in the applicable province/state.
• Experience in senior or long-term care is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification current.
• Vulnerable Sector Check required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies.
• Develop and maintain resident assessments, care plans and documentation.
• Coordinate care plans with physicians, team members and service providers.
