Job summary

AgeCare Dawson in Chestermere, AB is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a regular part-time position (0.40 FTE). You will join an inter-professional team to deliver person-centered nursing care to our residents and families, aligned with provincial care standards.

The role requires an LPN Diploma, current provincial registration, CPR, and at least 3 years in seniors’ health. Microsoft Office skills and leadership abilities are valued as you support care planning and resident safety.

Qualifications

• Active LPN registration in the province in good standing.
• 3+ years of experience with seniors’ health.
• CPR certification and ongoing competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and administer medications per policy.
• Complete and update care plans, assessments and documentation.
• Collaborate with the care team and Director of Care on transfers and conferences.
