Job summary

ParaMed Inc. is seeking a Health Care Aide to assist clients in their homes across the Calgary area. You will support daily living activities, hygiene, meals, and companionship, traveling between patients to provide consistent in-home care.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, privacy, and safety in home settings. The position offers full-time hours with opportunities for part-time options, training, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an HCA program approved by the Government of Alberta.
• Willingness to visit patients' residences within a designated area.
• Experience with personal hygiene care is an asset, not required.
• Experience with seniors and/or children is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Travel between patients to complete several home visits per day.
• Prepare meals and assist with mealtime.
• Basic housekeeping duties.
• Provide companionship and support patients’ well-being.
