Alberta Health Services is seeking a part‑time Health Care Aide to support Home Living/Home Care clients in their homes across the Westview network. You will assist with activities of daily living, hygiene, mobility and safety under the supervision of a licensed clinician, coordinating with families and the broader care team.

The role requires HCA certification or eligibility, BCLS HCP, and ability to work in varied home environments with occasional travel to suburban/rural sites.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible for CLHA registration as Health Care Aide.
• Proof of education or completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support-Healthcare Provider (BCLS HCP).

Responsabilités

• Provide personal assistance and support activities of daily living in clients' homes.
• Assist nurses with routine care to meet hygiene, nutrition, mobility and safety needs.
• Observe and report patients' mood, health and wellbeing to the care team.
• Work under supervision of a regulated health professional in home and community settings.
