Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare seeks a compassionate Personal Caregiver to deliver home care services in Sarnia, Ontario. You will provide homemaking, companionship, and personal care per care plans to support clients in maintaining independence at home.

Requirements include formal caregiver training, strong caregiving knowledge, and English communication; French is a plus. Training and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal caregiver training program and/or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service.
• Able to communicate in English; French proficiency is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide homemaking services (cleaning, cooking, laundry, household management).
• Offer companionship and accompany clients to activities.
• Administer personal care per care plan directives.
• Ensure client comfort, safety and well-being to high standards.
• Assist with activities of daily living per individual needs.
• Observe and document client conditions and report changes to supervisor.
