Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Personal Caregiver to deliver homemaking and personal care services in clients' homes. You will provide cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, and companionship, while ensuring safety and well-being. Strong English communication is essential; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering homemaking and personal care.
• Ability to communicate in English; French is an asset.
• Physically able to assist clients and lift up to 23 kg.
• Reliable transportation; driver’s license and vehicle considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive homemaking services including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and household management.
• Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events.
• Administer personal care services according to the care plan directives.
• Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest standard.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living tailored to their needs.
• Perform specialized procedures where trained and demonstrate competency.
• Observe and document client conditions and report changes to Supervisor/Office.
• Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices.
