Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare, a leading Canadian home and community health provider, is seeking a Registered Health Care Assistant to deliver compassionate in‑home care. You will perform homemaking, personal care, companionship, and mobility support guided by individualized care plans.

Qualifications

Completion of a formal, accredited Registered Health Care Assistant program.
Strong caregiving principles and customer service orientation.
Ability to communicate effectively in English; French is an asset.
Ability to assist clients with activities of daily living and mobility.
Provide safe, high quality care per care plan.

Responsibilities

Deliver homemaking services including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and household management.
Provide companionship and accompany clients to community activities.
Administer personal care according to the care plan.
Ensure client comfort, safety, and well‑being at all times.
Assist with activities of daily living tailored to client needs.
Perform specialized procedures as trained, maintaining competency.
Document client conditions and report changes to supervisor.
Apply infection prevention practices per company standards.
