Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Redwater Health Centre is looking for a part-time Health Care Aide to support residents in long-term care, acute care and emergency services. You will assist with activities of daily living, work with a multidisciplinary team, and help maintain a safe, caring environment while adapting to changing patient needs and shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible for registration or practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) as a Health Care Aide, with proof of education or completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, safety).
• Support nurses and care teams to meet patient care plans in home, community, and facilities.
• Observe and report patients' mood, health and wellbeing; maintain a safe environment.
