Job summary

Supported Lifestyles Ltd. is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join a mission-driven team serving individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges in Calgary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges.
• Experience providing behavioural supports to clients.
• Experience providing personal care (e.g., bathing, toileting, hygiene).
• Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Access to a personal vehicle is an asset.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality, specialized services in line with the agency's mission and standards.
• Support individuals through community integration, skill learning, and quality of life.
• Assist with behavioural and emotional support, data collection, and behaviour plans.
• Engage in community and recreational activities with individuals in service.
• Administer and document medication per policies and care plans.
• Maintain group home upkeeping and records.
