Job summary

The Lac La Ronge Indian Band Executive Office is hiring a Community Patrolling Officer (2) for a full-time permanent role based out of Hall Lake, SK. The successful candidate will patrol community areas, monitor security, and report any irregularities with minimal supervision.

Qualifications include Grade 12, ability to obtain RCMP security clearance, and CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to complete within the first year. Cree language ability is an asset.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass RCMP Security Clearance.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain within year.
• Excellent public interaction and professional conduct required.

Responsibilities

• Guard the property against fire, suspicious behaviour, theft, vandalism and forced entry.
• Patrol community, buildings, grounds and all community areas by vehicle as specified by employer.
• Regularly check security vehicle and report maintenance requests to Public Works.
• Observe doors, windows and gates to ensure they are secured.
• Provide written and verbal reports with factual details.
• Other duties of a similar nature as may be assigned from time to time.
