Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide in-home community nursing across Dryden and Sioux Lookout, Ontario. You will perform scheduled visits, deliver ethical nursing care, and support patients in their homes with the aim of comfort and independence.

The role offers part-time hours with a 26.63–30.61 CAD/hour range, requires a valid driver’s license, and traveling is expected within the region. AI-assisted screening may be used during the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Offer flexible scheduling including every other weekend
• Experience delivering community care is preferred
• Willingness to travel within designated areas to patient residences

Responsibilities

• Participate in scheduled visits in the community to look after patient needs within your scope of practice
• Provide ethical and safe nursing care
• Use assessment tools to evaluate patients’ needs and adjust care plans
• Execute and monitor care plans and update records
• Engage patients with a collaborative approach to build rapport and trust
• Maintain professional patient records related to encounters and plans
