Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care is hiring a part-time Registered Practical Nurse for Red Lake, Ontario, to deliver community nursing visits with RNs support for complex patients. You’ll provide ethical care, assess patient needs, and update records, while enjoying autonomy and work-life balance.

Expect a $3,000 signing bonus and flexible scheduling, including every other weekend off. Travel within the designated area is required, with health and dental benefits, education support, and a comprehensive

Qualifications

Must be registered with the CNO as an RPN in good standing.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
Experience in delivering community care is an asset.
Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area.
Required on-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and meet needs.

Responsibilities

Participate in scheduled visits in the community to look after patient needs within your scope of practice.
Provide ethical and safe nursing care.
Use appropriate assessment tools/techniques to assess patients’ needs.
Execute and monitor care plans and adjust as required; engage patients collaboratively.
Maintain and update professional patient records.
