Optima Living in Alberta is seeking a proactive Community Relations/Marketing professional to drive occupancy through targeted outreach and partnerships. You’ll conduct tours, manage leads and events, and collaborate with leadership to design strategies that attract prospective residents and families.

The role emphasizes building community relationships, coordinating outreach programs, and maintaining CRM records while supporting a resident-first approach in a senior living environment.

Competenze

• Minimum of two (2) years experience in sales, marketing, or community relations.
• Completion of a post-secondary program is an asset
• Experience in a residential care or mental health environment is an asset.
• Maintains a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for outreach.
• Strong customer service and networking skills, with a self-directed and resourceful approach.
• Knowledge of the community and surrounding areas is required.
• Communicates in an approachable and respectful manner with tact and cooperation.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to present professional documents clearly.
• Demonstrates the ability to organize, prioritize and problem solve.
• Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.
• Ability to manage and resolve difficult situations effectively and respectfully.
• Physical and mental ability to carry out duties with adherence to provincial health legislations.
• Ability to safely operate equipment according to established protocols.
• Computer literacy skills required.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

• Conducts engaging, personalized tours that establish trust with prospective residents and families.
• Assists prospective residents in evaluating compatibility with community offerings.
• Manages prospect pipelines, waitlists and records using the CRM system.
• Represents the community at events and builds relationships with senior centers and community partners.
• Engages in volunteer and outreach initiatives to promote referrals and goodwill.
• Establishes referral networks with health authorities and local providers.
• Coordinates on-site and off-site marketing events and open houses.
• Tracks post-event results to assess outcomes and ROI.
• Ensures smooth resident move-ins and continuity of care.
• Supports new team members through orientation and training.
• Performs duties with adherence to safety policies and confidentiality.
