Job summary

Verve Senior Living in Toronto seeks a dynamic Marketing and Sales professional to drive occupancy targets and community awareness. You will shape annual and quarterly plans, nurture resident leads, and coordinate PR activities with a team that values collaboration and service excellence.

The role requires strong English communication, leadership, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and staff while engaging with residents and families to ensure high-quality care experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of grade 12 completed.
• Post-secondary education in business administration with a major in sales, marketing, communication or public relations preferred.
• Written and verbal fluency in English required.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel) and strong leadership with ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to use own vehicle for work.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including potential weekends and/or evenings.
• Preference for 2+ years’ experience with seniors in a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements annual and quarterly marketing plans and updates regularly (min. quarterly).
• Develops new and existing resident contacts through a sales follow-up program.
• Coordinates marketing collateral and advertising; conducts internal and external PR activities.
• Leads tours for potential residents, families, and community groups.
• Ensures occupancy targets are met using the approved sales process.
• Prepares monthly marketing and sales reports for the General Manager; conducts annual competitive analysis and CMA updates.
• Maintains daily census and communicates with departments regarding moves.
• Recruits, interviews, and develops staff; oversees scheduling and performance appraisals.
• Provides input on budgets and departmental finances; manages collateral and promo inventory.
• Promotes revenue-generating initiatives and supports the Move-In program.
