Job summary

Vivo for Healthier Generations Society is seeking a Part-time Program & Engagement Representative in Calgary. The role supports events, programs, and rentals to ensure a safe, welcoming environment and positive community engagement across the facility.

The ideal candidate is energetic, service-oriented, safety-conscious, and passionate about community recreation, with availability for mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours.
• A valid police information check with Vulnerable Sector Search completed within two months prior to starting.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Event & Program Support: assist with setup/takedown of events and prepare activity areas to meet safety standards.
• Guest Engagement & Customer Service: welcome guests and provide information about programs and facility amenities, respond to questions promptly.
• Safety & Supervision: monitor spaces for safety, enforce rules, identify hazards and provide first aid as required.
• Facility Operations: maintain cleanliness and assist with equipment inventory and basic maintenance checks.
