Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to manage the pharmacy on duty, provide counselling to customers and healthcare providers, and dispense medications in a compliant environment.

You will support professional services and ensure privacy and documentation standards are met, while coordinating with the health care circle of care. duties include maintaining inventory, reviewing stock, and ensuring safety and accuracy in dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Manage Pharmacy operations on duty and provide consultations to customers and healthcare providers.
• Dispense medications and ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions.
• Maintain privacy, records and reporting in accordance with laws and policy.
• Counsel on prescriptions and OTC products; coordinate with other health professionals.
• Oversee workflow queues, stock control, and documentation for controlled substances.
• Read store communications and document incidents when needed.
