Job summary

CarePartners in Mississauga is seeking registered nurses (RN) and registered practical nurses (RPN) for part-time clinic roles. The position involves providing high-quality nursing care in our community clinic, with a 2-week rotation that includes weekends and on-call work.

You will develop and maintain effective care plans, work with patients in person, and deliver a range of clinic-based services. Requirements include CNO registration, CPR, immunization TB, and a clear background check.

Qualifications

• RN or RPN degree or diploma (Ontario).
• Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing.
• CPR Certification required.
• Two-step TB test & immunization records.
• Vulnerable sector check and clear background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an effective Care Plan with respect to Community Health Services.
• Provide in-person nursing care to patients in the Mississauga clinic.
• Deliver a wide spectrum of clinic services including wound care, IV therapy, and related nursing procedures.
• Perform other clinical duties as required.

We are looking for RNs and RPNs to work in our clinic in Mississauga.

This is a Part-Time position.

2-week rotation inclusive of weekends and on-call work.

Wages

• For Registered Nurses (RN)- This position offers a competitive compensation grid, with progression based on hours worked and role-specific criteria. The RN hourly range is $32.08 to $47.38, and placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
• For Registered Practical Nurses (RPN)- This position offers a competitive compensation grid, with progression based on hours worked and role-specific criteria. The RPN hourly range is $27.17 to $33.37, and placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.

What The Role Involves

• Developing and maintaining an effective Care Plan with respect to Community Health Services, independently or in cooperation with the Ontario Health atHome.
• Working with patients in-person to provide exceptional nursing services
• Providing a wide spectrum of services within our fully equipped nursing clinic (i.e. compression therapy, oncology support, hydration management, IV therapy ostomy and wound care, catheter management , etc.)
• Performing other clinical duties as required

What You Bring

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
• Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
• A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• CPR Certification
• Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
• To protect our patients, we require a current vulnerable sector check and a clear background check
