Job summary

CarePartners in Ontario is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) for full‑time roles in Owen Sound and surrounding areas. You will assess, plan, and provide high-quality nursing care in patients' homes and clinics.

Qualifications

  • RN or RPN degree or diploma required.
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Immunization records including TB test required.
  • Vulnerable sector check and clean background check required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (oral and written).
  • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain patient care plans for community health services.
  • Provide in-person nursing services to patients at homes and clinics.
  • Deliver a wide range of nursing procedures as part of clinical duties.
  • Collaborate with the Ontario Health atHome team to coordinate care.

RNs and RPNs

This is a Full-Time position

Hours of work are Monday - Friday during school hours in the Owen Sound and surrounding areas.

Wages

  • For Registered Nurses (RN)- This position offers a competitive compensation grid, with progression based on hours worked and role‑specific criteria. The RN hourly range is $32.08 to $47.38, and placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
  • For Registered Practical Nurses (RPN)- This position offers a competitive compensation grid, with progression based on hours worked and role‑specific criteria. The RPN hourly range is $27.17 to $33.37, and placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
What The Role Involves
  • Developing and maintaining an effective Care Plan with respect to Community Health Services, independently or in cooperation with the Ontario Health atHome.
  • Working with patients in-person to provide exceptional nursing services
  • Providing a wide spectrum of services within our fully equipped nursing clinic (i.e. compression therapy, oncology support, hydration management, IV therapy ostomy and wound care, catheter management , etc.)
  • Performing other clinical duties as required
What You Bring
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
  • A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • CPR Certification
  • Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
  • To protect our patients, we require a current vulnerable sector check and a clear background check

Through our Community Nursing Services outreach program, we’ve been organizing staff‑led medical care and clinics in countries with poor access to health care since 2009.
