Job summary

Golden Life Management's Columbia Garden Village in Invermere, BC is seeking a results-driven Community Manager to oversee daily operations across independent living, assisted living and long-term care. You’ll lead staff, manage budgeting, ensure licensing compliance, and promote exceptional resident experiences in housing, dining, recreation and care services.

You bring a post-secondary degree, 5 years of leadership experience, strong communication skills and a passion for service.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality, Health Care Management or related field.
• 5 years of leadership experience in management, hospitality, senior living, or health care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement and budgeting.

What You Bring

• Education : A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality, Health Care Management, or a related field. Individuals that also possess a clinical background in senior’s care would be extremely beneficial and highly sought after. Equivalent experience and a combination of qualifications may be considered for interview.
• Experience : 5 years of recent and related leadership experience in management, hospitality, senior living, or health care.
• Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with all stakeholders while being able to balance the operational demands and financial budgets of the village are a must
• Passion for Service : A commitment to providing exceptional, resident-focused service.
• Knowledge : Understanding of the community care and assisted living facility standards and senior’s care is an asset. Additionally experience in occupational health and safety, WorkSafe BC requirements, emergency preparedness and response would be welcomed.
• Multitasking Ability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

• A clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check (CRC).
• TB screening, and up-to-date immunization records.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

• A competitive salary : $75,000 - $92,000, Depending on experience and qualifications.
