Job summary

Golden Life is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide for Columbia Garden Village in Invermere, BC. This part-time position (0.40 FTE) offers an evening shift from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm, with competitive pay and opportunities to grow within a values-driven team dedicated to senior care.

As a member of the dining and kitchen support staff, you will assist with meal prep, service, and cleanliness, while ensuring residents receive high-quality, compassionate dining experiences in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 10 or higher.
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• A negative TB test and up-to-date immunization record.

Responsibilities

• Counts, weighs and/or measures ingredients for assigned food preparation areas.
• Portions out and serves food and beverages in the dining room, gathers and replaces supplies as required.
• Set up, serve, and restock dining areas.
• Deliver food carts and stock neighborhood kitchenettes.
• Assist with basic food prep and special event service.
• Operate dishwashing and kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen spaces.
• Complete light clerical tasks as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
