Qualifications

  • Own non-slip, safety work boots.
  • Food Safe 1 certification required.
  • Negative TB skin test.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check.
  • Willing to obtain Occupational First Aid certification after hire.
  • Understand ARC Philosophy, Standards, Tenets.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare meals per standardized recipes and dietary needs.
  • Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Utilize boiling, steaming, roasting, baking, grilling, frying methods.
  • Rotate inventory, minimize waste.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling and sanitation.
  • Coordinate with team to ensure quality food production and service.
  • Assist with handling hazardous substances and allergen identification.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety.
