Job summary

Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo in Fort McMurray is seeking a Community Investment Coordinator to compile, analyze, and manage financial information from funded community organizations and to assist in drafting and maintaining Community Investment Program agreements.

Under general supervision, you will monitor budgets, prepare reports, develop financial policies, provide training on budgeting, and support the online application system while ensuring reporting accuracy and alignment with

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in accounting with budgeting experience.
• CPA/CGA/CMA/CA designation or progress is an asset.
• Municipal or government experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Compile, research, organize, and analyze financial information submitted by funded community organizations.
• Assist with the development and management of Community Investment Program agreements.
• Prepare Community Investment Program reports.
• Maintain budget system and perform budget analyses.
• Provide training to staff and funded community organizations on financial procedures and budgeting.
