Job summary

Highland Health & Family Development Centre in Prince George is seeking a Registered Care Aide to support clients in their homes, following a pre-established care plan.

You will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, meal planning and preparation, aiming to promote independence. Evening shifts are available, fostering flexible community care.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position provides home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan. Assists with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, planning and preparing meals while promoting maximum independence. Performs delegated tasks for which delegation of tasks training has been completed. A key component of this job is to ensure the well-being of individuals and families and to promote independent living while in the community.

Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Evenings, Friday to Monday, 17:00 to 22:00
