Job summary

Assisted Living Alberta is seeking a Health Care Aide to support Home Living services in Morinville and nearby areas. The role involves traveling to suburban/rural sites as needed, under supervision of a regulated health professional, providing essential personal care and support to clients in their homes and communities.

You will assist with activities of daily living, observe patient wellbeing, and document care in accordance with the patient care plan.

Qualifications

• BCLS HCP certification required or eligible.
• Strong communication and assessment skills needed.
• Ability to lift and carry medical bags (25–30 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients in home/community settings.
• Assist nurses with routine care and daily living activities.
• Document care as required and communicate with the care team.
