Job Type: 1 year with potential for extension
Location: North York
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Integration Program Communications Manager and team to execute the Program Comms & Engagement Strategy, ensuring timely delivery of materials related to integration milestones.
- Review and maintain communications standards, templates, and guidelines for consistent messaging within the program.
- Serve as a liaison to Business Readiness (BR) OCM and Communications leads, supporting alignment and implementation of program communications.
- Develop, socialize, and implement communications materials that support overall USUI program objectives, including sponsor communications and SteerCo materials.
- Ensure messaging aligns with the integration program's overarching narrative, fostering clarity and trust.
- Work with the Utility Public Affairs and Communications (UPAC) team to align on non-program U.S. Utility Communications requirements.
- Track communication and engagement metrics for reporting and identify areas of potential fatigue, collaborating on solutions.
- Monitor the effectiveness of communication efforts through stakeholder feedback and recommend improvements.
- Support integration reporting on the UPAC integration plan.
- Act as the program’s communications liaison, providing leadership with updates on key messages, progress, and risks.
- Manage intake for USUI Program Comms issues/requests and support BR team communications as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- University degree with a minimum of 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5+ years of directly related communications experience, preferably in a large organization.
- PROSCI Change Management Certification, CCMP Designation, or CMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing communication strategies for transformational change programs.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse partners.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and organizational skills; proficient in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint), SharePoint, Viva Engage, and other communication tools.
