About The Opportunity
As an External Communications Specialist on the global Content Marketing and Social Media team at Dayforce, you’ll join a group of seasoned strategists and writers who form the core storytelling engine that brings our unique brand personality and value proposition to life.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a variety of high-impact skills across content marketing, social media, digital storytelling, and media relations. Your work will help bring our brand narrative to life and have a direct impact on brand awareness, audience engagement, and demand generation, helping Dayforce reach its mission to make work life better on a global scale. Most days will include engaging with our audience on social media, drafting post copy and scheduling it in Sprout Social, researching the latest social media trends, writing blog posts, and supporting senior members of the Content Marketing and Social Media team on upcoming campaigns. We’re looking for a curious, creative, and detail-oriented self-starter who’s eager to learn, experiment, and grow. What You’ll Get To Do
- Support the day-to-day management of our social media channels, including drafting channel-specific content, scheduling posts, creating digital assets, and monitoring performance.
- Assist with content creation for blogs, longform content, video content, and occasionally press releases and media pitches.
- Help coordinate external communications campaigns and launches, working with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Research industry trends and new content formats to keep our strategy fresh and relevant.
- Track and report on functional and program performance, helping the team understand what’s working and where we can improve.
- Contribute ideas in brainstorms and team meetings, bringing a fresh perspective and willingness to explore new approaches.
Skills And Experience We Value
- 1-3 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or related field. This may include co-op and internship experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communicator with a passion for continuous improvement and growth within these skills.
- Social media fluency—comfortable using platforms like LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook in a professional setting, and familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. Sprout Social).
- Critical thinker and proactive self-starter with excellent organizational and research skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, as required, and travel on occasion.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools (i.e. Conductor, AHREFS, etc.)

Proficiency in English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders, co-workers, managers and/or clients across the world. Further, our back office support teams, including but not limited to Human Resources, are primarily English speaking. Employees need to be able to communicate with these departments in English to appropriately administer their business relationship. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking co-workers, managers, stakeholders and/or clients, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
