Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours

Pay Rate: $29.00/hour

Locations: Hybrid (In-office Mon, Tues, Thurs) Calgary AB, T2P 3L8

Position: Corporate Citizenship/Communications Analyst

Calgary, AB | Full-time | 1-Year Contract (Possible Extension)

Experience: 1–4 years

Our client in the Natural Gas Distribution industry is hiring a Corporate Citizenship/Communications Analyst to support internal communications, employee engagement, and community investment initiatives within our Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability (PACS) team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, social impact, and employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive internal and external storytelling for our client's Fueling Futures program and employee volunteering/giving initiatives.
  • Support strategic community partnerships, data governance, and reporting using platforms like Benevity SPARK and GRANTS.
  • Develop and execute internal communications plans aligned with enterprise narratives and inclusion priorities.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure brand consistency and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Represent our client at events and support special campaigns and digital content creation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, CSR, or related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in corporate communications or community investment.
  • Strong writing, editing, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, digital publishing tools, and community investment platforms.
  • Strategic, critical thinker with strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Emotionally and culturally intelligent; values diversity and builds rapport across teams.
  • Persuasive communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Effective collaborator who thrives in cross-functional environments.
