Role Description
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing internal and external communication strategies that enhance resident engagement, strengthen brand presence, and support the overall goals of Equium Group’s property management operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication plans to support property announcements, resident engagement initiatives, and corporate updates.
- Craft clear, professional, and engaging content for newsletters, resident notices, email campaigns, website updates, and social media channels.
- Create, manage, and execute a cohesive social media strategy across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to enhance brand awareness, promote community engagement, and showcase Equium Group’s properties and initiatives.
- Monitor social media performance and engagement, adjusting strategies based on analytics and industry trends.
- Collaborate with property managers and leadership to ensure timely and accurate messaging across all platforms.
- Coordinate crisis communication efforts in collaboration with leadership and operations teams.
- Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all communications.
- Support the development and editing of marketing collateral, presentations, and reports.
- Track and analyze communication metrics to improve engagement and strategy effectiveness.
- Act as a liaison between property sites and the corporate office to streamline communication processes.
- Assist with internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a communications or marketing role; property management or real estate industry experience is a strong asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Canva, WordPress, social media platforms).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
