Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a motivated student for a hybrid work term in corporate communications. You will prioritize, troubleshoot, and elevate internal requests, maintain playbooks and templates, and help publish intranet news, newsletters, and emails.

The role involves collaboration with brand, digital, media, and external communications teams, with opportunities to participate in corporate events and learn across communications disciplines. Eligible for relocation assistance for students.

Qualifications

• Requires at least two years’ relevant post-secondary education, working towards a university degree in communications, journalism or public relations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are expected.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, troubleshoot, and elevate incoming communication requests.
• Activate our communications playbook by maintaining self-serve tools, templates, and guidance documents and sharing with our internal business partners.
• Assess, review, and edit on internal communications plans and content.
• Manage and publish content on our internal communication channels - intranet news and announcements, weekly leader briefing newsletter and corporate-wide emails.
• Be involved on project teams for corporate events.
• Collaborate and liaise with the broader communications team - brand and digital specialists, media relations and external communications.
