Northbridge Financial Corporation is seeking a Commercial Underwriter specializing in Transportation & Logistics. You’ll tailor insurance solutions for commercial clients, working closely with broker partners to assess risks and reach mutually beneficial outcomes.

You will collaborate in a collaborative team, mentor less experienced underwriters, and participate in ongoing growth to advance your CIP path while benefiting from flexible hybrid work models and strong total rewards.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of underwriting experience in Transportation & Logistics.
• Completed or pursuing CIP designation (asset).
• Strong customer service background.
• Team-first mentality.

Our Underwriters customize solutions for our commercial clients when they need insurance products to cover Transportation & Logistics risks. They work closely with a wide range of broker partners to get a holistic picture of each risk and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties. They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders and love utilizing their strong technical skills to ensure that risks are assessed properly. While they are already experts in their own field, Northbridge is committed to their ongoing growth and development. Working in a collaborative team they provide coaching, mentoring and development for less experienced underwriters. We want your talent!

If you are great at:

• Commercial Underwriting
• Problem-solving and critical thinking
• Building relationships with brokers
• Creating success in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Helping others develop through coaching and mentorship

If you have:

• 3-5 years of Underwriting experience in Transportation and Logistics
• Completed, or pursuing your CIP designation (an asset)
• Strong customer service background
• Team-first mentality
